Free and Paid Hosting Compared
There are three hosting options on FreeMcHosting. You can use the free pool with credits or pay monthly for a bigger resource pool. All of them are run by our small team.
Check the dashboard for the current billing details before buying.

How free hosting works
You choose how much RAM, CPU and storage to give each server. All your free servers must fit within the same pool.
Free servers use credits. You can earn them by doing tasks on the rewards page. Auto-renewal is enabled by default. Your server renews when you have enough credits, unless you turn the option off.
Moving a free server to paid
Paid hosting runs on different servers from free hosting. There is no automatic transfer yet. If you want to move your world:
- Download your world, settings, plugins and mods from your free server.
- Choose a paid plan in the dashboard and make a new server.
- Upload the files to your new server. Make sure the Minecraft software and version are compatible.
- Check that your world works before inviting friends.
Need help? Contact us. We want to add automatic transfers in the future, but they're not available yet. Your server address may also change when you move.
Uptime and backups
We run the servers ourselves, so we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Power issues, maintenance and network problems can still happen. During a serious attack, we may need to stop the free node for a while. Check the status page and please keep your own backups.
Which one should you pick?
Free hosting is good if you're testing something or playing with friends and don't mind earning credits. Paid plans give you more resources for a fixed monthly price. Pick the one that suits your server, and check the terms before paying.
